About Dr. Halperin
I am passionate about patient care, advocacy, and learning with and from others. Stressing unique flexibility and access, I manage a concierge, patient-centered private practice based in New York City and Greenwich, CT.
Prior to full-time private practice, I served as the Medical Director of the Argent Program at Silver Hill Hospital and Associate Medical Director of Emergency Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
I completed a fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at NYU Langone Health, where I taught undergraduate courses on narrative medicine and wrote a chapter in a college textbook on sleep disorders. Before fellowship, I trained in adult psychiatry at Brown University and served as chief resident of Butler Hospital and in-house psychiatrist at Rhode Island School of Design. I earned my medical degree from NYU Grossman School of Medicine and my undergraduate degree in biology magna cum laude from Cornell University.
